Who is The Canine Coach?

My name is Katie Munro, also known as “The Canine Coach”.

Servicing clients based in Worcestershire, I am a fully qualified dog trainer and behaviourist with many years of experience in working with our furry friends and their adoring humans!

I have a first class degree from Hartpury College; a globally recognised centre for animal training, behaviour, and performance. While studying I also worked at a busy kennel for working dogs. The time spent in both learning and getting practical experience reinforced what I already knew; that working with dogs was something I would dearly love to do…

I believe dogs make a house a home, and having grown up with 3 very large Pyrenean mountain dogs I’ve always understood how dog ownership can be both heart-warming and challenging!

To learn as much as possible and benefit from the most up to date training techniques, I extended my studies and gained a Level 4 Diploma in Canine Welfare, Training, and Behaviour. I continue to learn… embracing new methods as they are discovered; always with kindness at the root of my training beliefs…

My methods of training are all force-free; I use only positive reinforcement to encourage positive change, and my approach is solely focussed on helping you help your dog.
